IRCTC HDFC Credit card is a cobranded credit card with Rupay Platform. HDFC Rupay comes UPI enabled. This allows the customers to use credit cards linked to UPI Apps for local purchases as well.

Reward Redemption & Validity


  • The redemption against the train ticket booking and IRCTC voucher purchase will be at the rate of 1 Reward Point = INR 1 on HDFC Bank SmartBuy and HDFC Bank NetBanking. Reward Points will lapse on expiry of two years from the date of issuance.
  • Redemption can be made only against 70% of fare ticket amount on train ticket booking via HDFC Bank SmartBuy, inclusive of fares of all the passengers and service charges levied by IRCTC.
  • Reward Points can be used only for redemption against purchase of IRCTC voucher via HDFC Bank SmartBuy/ Netbanking and train ticket booking via HDFC Bank SmartBuy

Fees

  • Joining Fee/ Annual Fee 500+ GST
  • Reversed on annual spends of 1.5 Lakhs.
Verdict

Good card for frequent train travelers unlike other IRCTC Cards which provides points only for AC with seasonal variations IRCTC HDFC Provides with 5 Reward Points (5%) plus 5% cashback from     HDFC Smartbuy is cool. High annual milestone to waive of fees is a spoil sport.
