BOB IRCTC Credit Card is for those who loves to have long journeys frequently on trains. It is similar to SBI IRCTC Card.The reward points awarded appears different, but the values are similar. It is issued through Rupay channel.

Value Back Benefits

  • 40 Reward Points per ₹100 for Travel dates between 15 Jan – 31 Mar and 15 July – 15 Sep. 16 Reward Points per ₹100 for Travel dates between 1 April -14 July and 16 Sep – 14 Jan valid on 1AC, 2AC, 3AC, CC or EC class bookings . 
  • 4 BoB Reward Points = 1 IRCTC Travel Point. 1 BoB Reward Point = ₹0.25. Travel points will be credited only 5 days after the date of journey completion, if the ticket is not cancelled.

  • Poor base reward rate of 0.8%.
  • No annual fee waiver.
  • Only 4% RP during peak season

Verdict

IRCTC BoB Card is good for those who prefer to onboard train for their vacations/ long journeys. SBI IRCTC appears to be slightly better from joining fees point of view, rest are similar.
